Who you are actually calling
ADI Leak Detection was started by Adrian Morgan in High Wycombe in 2011, by one engineer with a van. It is a trading name of ADI Leak Solutions Ltd, and it now runs 25 leak detection engineers across England, Scotland and Wales, completing around 5,000 jobs a year.
The office team speak to every customer before an engineer is booked, and the engineer who attends is the one who writes the report.
That sounds like a small thing until a leak is costing you money. It means the person who explains the result has stood over the hole, and it means your insurer or your water company can put a question to the engineer who wrote the document rather than to a call handler reading it off a screen.

The one that matters most on a supply pipe. It certifies the work complies with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.

The national register of approved plumbing businesses
Backed by the UK water industry. Anyone can search the register.
CIPHE
Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering
The profession’s chartered institute. ADI is one of very few CIPHE accredited leak detection specialists.
CSCS
Construction Skills Certification Scheme
Proves the individual engineer holds the training a commercial site requires.

Covers the pool side of the business.

Carried on every job, on every property, including the ones where a floor has to come up.
How an engineer gets on the van
- A plumbing or heating background with a minimum of three years on the tools before they are considered at all.
- ADI’s own training on tracer gas, acoustic correlation and thermal imaging.
- Shadowing an experienced engineer until Mark Jones, Technical Manager, signs the training off.
- A CSCS card, so the same engineer can work on a commercial site as well as a house.
